BRIEF:
Design a durable and attractive side panel that can be produced using thermoforming techniques.
STORY:
The project undertaken considers cost efficient manufacturing methods in order to achieve an attractive and lightweight side casing. Although designed to be durable and weather-resistant, the plastic side piece has been designed in a way that it is cheap to produce, simple to assemble and is bold in aesthetic. The embossed detailing add structural support as well as visual value.

Outdoor equipment must withstand multitude of harsh environments, from mishandling, weather impact and general wear and tear. For this reason, it is vital that they are built in such a way that parts can be produced cheaply but also easily replaceable under maintenance and repair.
