ABOUT.

BIO.

After graduating from Bournemouth University, in the UK, with a BA Hons Degree in Industrial Design, I took a big leap east to China, where I have spent the last 10+ years working in the heart of Asia’s technology and manufacturing hub, the Pearl Delta River (Asia’s Silicon Valley).

I have worked across multiple corners of the creative and manufacturing sectors, landing myself positions in small start-up design studios, globally renowned consultancies, supply chains, and freelance roles.

I have been actively involved in a wide range of independent and commercial projects, taking the lead role to successfully evolve innovative paper sketches into physical and profitable products for both domestic and international markets. Categories including: consumer electronics, industrial equipment, robotic, nursery, lighting and more.

Working in Asia has exposed me to the rapid and raw world of production. It has allowed me to efficiently bridge the gap between design and manufacture, and given me the opportunity to dive deep within both the creative and technical sides of product design, from concept design, CMF selection and prototyping, to DFM, tooling and quality control.

Being able to speak English (mother-tongue) and Chinese Mandarin on a professional, working level has made it possible to smoothly communicate and cooperate with local factories, suppliers and clients.
